CMHD Welcomes International Scholars

Study at the University of Ottawa

The Culture and Mental Health Disparities (CMHD) Lab is offering opportunities for international visitors who would like to spend 1-12 months studying at the University of Ottawa. This is a clinical research and training experience for scientists in psychology, psychiatry or other related disciplines.

Visitors will:

  • Work with a faculty member on a research project
  • Interact with CMHD lab faculty, students, and collaborators
  • Attend reearch meetings
  • Participate in CMHD workshops, talks, and forums
  • Study at the University of Ottawa
  • Learn about cross-cultural treatment issues
  • Observe clinical assessments and psychological treatment

Clinical Scholarship

Clinical scholarship in psychology requires discussion and development from multiple perspectives, but can also serve as a commonality around which the entire profession can unite.
